Account Executive

Basic Function
MRG is seeking an individual to join our team as an Account Executive responsible for maintaining and expanding assigned key accounts at planned booking levels and redeeming annual booking plan in assigned markets and territory at company approved pricing standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Consistently close monthly sales booking plan.
  • Plan and efficiently schedule appointments and manage time to assure maximum productivity.
  • Appraise and survey mechanical systems to determine repair, modification, and/or maintenance requirements. Interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions and properly apply company pricing policy.
  • Qualify prospects, make effective sales presentations, and answer questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner. Aggressively manage quotes to close sales.
  • Identify prospects in assigned market. Promptly follow up on leads and referrals. Establish customer rapport and identify needs. Maintain an active backlog of quotes to assure booking goal is consistently met.
  • Increase existing customer maintenance coverage and/or other services.
  • Managing customer concerns to assure resolution of problems and maintain long-term, positive relationships.
  • Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with field, office, and management personnel to resolve problems, develop opportunities, and maximize profits.

Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in HVAC industry.
  • College Degree – 2 or 4 years.
  • Mechanical systems knowledge: competent understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to identify problems and propose cost-effective solutions.
  • Strong decision making abilities, negotiation skills, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, people management, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
