Dave joined Mechanical Resource Group in 2006 after 33 years with the Trane Company. A graduate of Kansas State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Dave started his career in Atlanta as Manager of Engineering Sales with later moves to Orlando as General Manager and New York City as General Manager. Dave’s career experience has been leading under-performing companies to new high performing levels which has proven invaluable in growing Mechanical Resource Group to one of the leading HVAC equipment and service organizations in the region.
Jon graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science. Upon graduation, he joined Brasfield & Gorrie where he managed various healthcare and office building construction projects in Atlanta. In 2007, Jon moved to Nashville for the construction of The Pinnacle at Symphony Place. Five years ago, Jon joined MRG as General Manager of the Service group. In that time he has grown the division to a viable, technically competent team with high customer service skills. His construction management and Service division General Manager experience serves well in his leadership role as Managing Partner.
A graduate of Auburn University’s School of Building Science, Matt joined Mechanical Resource Group in 2006 after seven years as a sales engineer with Georgia Trane. He graduated from Trane’s Graduate Training program and was assigned to the Atlanta office; eventually moving to Savannah in 2003 after being chosen to open the Savannah office for the company. As the leader of the Equipment division, Matt has worked with many local engineers, mechanical contractors and owners in various industries including healthcare and education. Matt served as ASHRAE Nashville Chapter President for the 2011-2012 calendar year.
Justin began his career as a young entrepreneur forming a well-known restaurant in Franklin, Tennessee. He joined MRG’s equipment group as an application engineer before being promoted to general manager of the Aftermarket group. Justin’s business acumen and attention to customer service has more than doubled the aftermarket products group.
Thresa joined Mechanical Resource Group in 2008 after ten years with York/Johnson Controls as Service Administrator. Previously, Thresa was administrator of a family business. Today, Thresa handles all of the financial accounting activities for our six divisions. Thresa is a member of the executive committee and is a financial coach for all our leaders.
